The InvisiGrip Vein Stripper is designed to remove
the long saphenous vein by inversion stripping from
knee to groin, without a distal incision. This
technique reduces the likelihood of injury to
adjacent structures. The additional benefit of the
InvisiGrip device is that the vein can be removed
from the knee to the groin, without having to make
an incision distally. The absence of a distal
incision allows for a successful procedure and does
not leave the patient with a scar or even minor
cosmetic disfigurement at the knee where it would be
easily visible.
