Indications

Relief of the strictures/obstructions caused by malignant tumors which affect the gastric outlet or the duodenum (definitive palliative treatment or temporizing procedure prior to a surgery).

Contraindications
Enteral ischemia, suspected/actual bowel perforation, peritoneal abscess, severe ascites, severe coagulopathy, concomitant esophageal varices, exulcerated and bleeding tumor which should be stented, allergic reaction to nitinol (nickel-titanium alloy).
